Dumaco expands with Ubroek precision in large machining

Dumaco is proud to announce its expansion with a new branch: Ubroek precision in large machining. This strategic move opens new doors for growth and innovation for Dumaco, and ensures the future and working methods of the employees at Ubroek precision in large machining.

Ubroek precision in large machining, founded in 1965 and based in Venlo, has grown over the years into a modern company specialized in precision metalworking. As a subcontractor, they supply large and complex precision parts for leading customers from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany in various industries, such as the oil and gas, energy and semiconductor industries. 

John Hermans, the managing director of Ubroek precision in large machining, says he did not have a successor for the family business. “That is why I was looking for a strong partner to which we can make a valuable addition and achieve further growth with. Dumaco has seven locations in which we see the synergy.”

New opportunities and expertise

Edwin Voermans, CEO at Dumaco, shares his enthusiasm about the expansion, “The addition of Ubroek precision in large machining is a valuable addition and allows us to serve an even wider range of customers. We look forward to leveraging nearly 60 years of expertise and the new opportunities in machining in large machining.” 

John Hermans will remain on board with Ubroek precision in large machining for the time being, emphasizing, “Although we will continue to operate as an independent branche within the group, we will actively seek cooperation with the other branches.”

“Ubroek precision in large machining shares the same vision and way of working as Dumaco,” John explains. “Thinking along with the customer and genuinely unburdening our customers is a big similarity.” Like Dumaco, Ubroek offers some specialized machining services, such as boring, carousel turning, grinding, surface grinding, wire EDM and milling. In doing so, both companies strive for innovation and continuous improvement in order to maintain the same high quality. “The amalgamation of Dumaco and Ubroek precision in large machining promises a future in which innovation, quality and customer satisfaction remain central,” said Edwin.
